Handblown glass forms the base with a timber top inserted through the structure.
The length of timber represents the blowpipe, an essential tool in the glass blowing process used to gather, manoeuvre and manipulate the glass. During the glassblowing process the glass spins on the blowpipe and is kept concentric.
Naka Sidetable glass was produced by Liam Fleming at the Jam Factory in Adelaide.
